Life is Taking Risks, not being frozen in time.

* Life is Taking Risks

Life is Taking Risks The real tragedy in death is when the person never really lived.

Life is Taking Risks, not being frozen in time. In 2010 I went to Constanta Romania to teach a small seminar, and fell in love with the country, a woman and everything about the culture.

Sadly this beautiful angel passed away shortly after my return to Canada. But I kept close to her sister and family.

In many ways her sister is my best friend. I returned to visit again in 2010, 2011, 2012 and in 2013.

In 2013 while on a month long trip to Romania a huge issue happened in my Dojo. The building we operating in was sold out from under us and we had to move BEFORE I was scheduled to return. I had to cut my trip short and return again to Canada. But upon my feet touching the ground in Toronto I knew I no longer belonged there.

At this point in time I was living with my elderly mother. I moved back in 2011 when her abilities to live alone ceased. And I would never allow her to be locked away in one these "homes." And I had promised her much also.

To pass in her home. So my son Scott and I lived there and took turns teaching classes, and seeing her needs were met. she passed on August 11th 2015 at 96.  I finalized my plans to leave and moved January 29th 2016.

Now my mother was my mentor in life. I had a great childhood. We were poor, but happy.

When I came back in 2013 my mother said to me she did not expect me to return. We talked, because I had decided to move to Romania. And my son Scott decided about a year later to do the same.

So what is the point to this article? To understanding that the mind must be open at all times to learning. And learning is NOT following some alleged 'expert' because he has letters behind his or her name. Do you know how many experts in "life" told me I was INSANE and I would fail?

And  I did not fail. Was the move challenging? One hundred percent! There is not much English in Transilvania, the region I live in, therefore I had to adapt quickly. But I had already experience this, and knew this. And Romanian is a very challenging language with Latin and Slavic roots.

Life is Taking Risks in Conclusion

Once there, I for about 3 months at first had to deal with a life of chaos.

Working with a lawyer and accountant setting up a business, and praying I would have no issues with immigration. It went as sooth as glass.

There is chaos on the streets of the west today. are you training for chaos? Or for a fight with rules? This is something for you to ponder. Thank you for reading Life is Taking Risks. I hope you got something from it.
